Step 1: Consultation & Skin Analysis (5-10 minutes)
Your esthetician will assess your skin type, discuss any concerns, and confirm dermaplaning is the right treatment for your complexion that day.
Step 2: Deep Cleansing & Preparation (10-15 minutes)
We use the Corthe Dermo Cleansing Foam to remove makeup, oil, and impurities and prepare your skin for dermaplaning. Your skin is then toned and prepped for the exfoliation step.
Step 3: Professional Dermaplaning (15-20 minutes)
Using a sterile surgical blade held at a precise 45-degree angle, your esthetician gently glides across the skin to remove dead skin cells and fine vellus hair. The process is virtually painless.
Step 4: Serum & Moisturizer Application (10-15 minutes)
With your skin freshly exfoliated, we apply targeted serums and a hydrating moisturizer to lock in results. Your session finishes with a broad-spectrum SPF to protect your newly revealed skin.

Does dermaplaning hurt?
No. Dermaplaning is a gentle, painless procedure. You may feel a light scratching sensation as the blade glides across the skin, but most clients find it very comfortable. There is no pain, redness, or discomfort during the treatment.
Will my hair grow back thicker or darker?
No, this is one of the most common misconceptions about dermaplaning. The fine vellus hair (peach fuzz) that is removed grows back at the same rate, texture, and color as before. Dermaplaning does not affect the hair follicle at all.
Is there any downtime after dermaplaning?
None. You can return to your normal activities immediately after your dermaplaning facial. Your skin may look slightly flushed for an hour or two, but there is no peeling, swelling, or recovery period required.
Who is a good candidate for dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is safe for most skin types, including sensitive skin. It is particularly beneficial for those with dry skin, dull complexion, fine lines, or uneven texture. We do not recommend it for active acne breakouts or certain skin conditions, your esthetician will assess your skin during the consultation.
